Hey Alabama fans! Shane Martin here. I’m Dixieland Delighted to announce a side project with my band we’ve been working on. An Alabama Tribute called “Songs Of The South”. We’ve had an Alabama medley in our set for quite some time that we love to perform and audiences enjoy. I’ve always admired Alabama’s timeless down home songs and sweet harmonies and thought it would be great to put together an entire set of their music. It feels right at home when we sing one of their many hits and fits right in our wheelhouse with all the vocal harmonies. Adding to the band, I’ve recruited a top notch fiddle/utility musician to get the full Songs Of The South sound. I can’t wait to Roll On the stage with this Alabama tribute. As a Brill Building songwriter in the mid 60s, Neil Diamond penned songs recorded by everyone from Elvis Presley to Deep Purple and, of course, the Monkee’s classic, “I’m A Believer.” “This is not a tribute show,” says Tommy Vee. “This is a celebration of an amazing musical icon, one we all love and respect. We have recruited an incredible group of singers and players and have gone back to the original records,” he explains, “It is all about the vocals and Matt nails it! This is a family fun event to help us raise some money for Bob and his family.

One of our own techs, Bob Jensen, suffered a life changing heart attack on July 10th. Bob spent 21 days in ICU and is now at a rehab center looking to get his life back. It's a long road ahead and we are there for him and his family. On August 30th we will be having a fundraiser at our outdoor stage with lots of music by many of the musicians that have worked with Bob at Le Musique Room and beyond. This will be a family fun day on Sunday August 30th from 2pm to 7pm.
Many details to come but one thing that you all may like besides all the different music is that we will have a merchandise table where all the proceeds will go directly to Bob and his family. At that table, you will find CD's, t-shirts and the alike from all the musicians donating items. Le Musique Room will be donating TICKETS to SHOWS!!! We will have 2 for 1's and some 3 for 1's to Le Musique Room tickets to different shows. Save big money AND donate to Bob and his family. Big Win I say.

Hey music fans, Shane Martin here. I am so excited to finally release this new project I’ve been working on for a while. It’s been a long creative process that I almost didn’t get to finish. I had studio time booked in Nashville back in mid-March when the pandemic started to hit the US. Driven to finish the project, I canceled my flight, rented a car and rode solo to Nashville. In the middle of recording, Minnesota went on lock down, but I made it home safe and sound with a handful of new songs. I wanted to release this CD in the Spring, but with everything shut down it was put on the back burner. Now it’s time to burn CD’s and release new music. Come on out and help me celebrate this compilation of songs called “Anywhere”!
It’s a spirited mix of love found and lost, faith, looking back on good ol’ days and a salute to the American flag and our freedoms. Hope to see you there in a lawn chair at Le Musique Room Sept. 3rd!

This show was booked some time ago. With heavy hearts we are listing this show as we now know that the drummer from RUSH, Neil Peart passed away on January 7th 2020. The rock world will never be the same. Come and pay tribute to an amazing embodiment of musical work by Neil and the rest of the band RUSH.
